Description: The S.B. Music Club presents another in its popular series of free concerts of beautiful Classical music. The program opens with Beethoven's first published work: his Trio in E-flat major, Op. 1, No. 1, featuring violinist Nicole McKenzie, cellist Carol Roe, and pianist John Sonquist. Three original compositions by James Connolly follow: "Patience Makes the Ocean Blue," "Forgetting the Names of Trees," and "Hymn for John," performed by the Gove County String Quartet. The program concludes with the melodic and vivacious Sonata in D major, Op. 94, performed by violinist Nicole McKenzie and pianist Betty Oberacker.
