Description: Director of The Earth Institute, special adviser to the United Nations Secretary-General and Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs is widely considered to be the leading international economic adviser of his generation. Co-founder of the Central Asia Institute, Pennies for Peace, and co-author of the national best-seller Three Cups of Tea, Greg Mortenson has helped more than 25,000 children in remote regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan receive quality education and established more than 60 schools.
The authors will each give a 45-minute presentation followed by an on stage conversation.

Presented as part of the “Alleviating Global Poverty Event Series.” Assistance provided by Direct Relief International.
