Husband and father Chris says:
"Our family story is pretty cool - Julie and I met on both our last days in Paris and after sharing a bottle of wine at the Arc de Triumph and then spending the night "talking" to each other, we were in love. She came to San Diego a few months later and as my muse inspired me to quit my job and paint full time. I hadn't sold one painting before that. Since then I have sold hundreds. We moved to Montreal 6 months after she came to San Diego where I learned French and embraced the amazing Quebec culture. We where married in Quebec and shortly after we came to Santa Barbara, where due to the cost of living here I had to go back to being a stock broker full time. I paint about a painting a week still and Julie realized her dream to become an organic farmer at Fairview Gardens. We had the future abstract expressionist, Malakye Beaumont Potter 8-6-6 and now we are continuing the family with a girl due Labor Day. Since we know we are going to be even deeper into parenting that day we felt it was the time to show off all the creative work that we have done while a family."
