Description: Louis Mazzetti, 1915-2001, was an accomplished fine artist and a member of the prestigious National Watercolor Society (NWS). His energetic abstract compositions explore landscapes, seascapes and architectural scenes, among other subjects. A member of the Santa Barbara Art Association, Mazzetti participated in solo and group exhibitions at venues including the Los Olivos Gallery and the Faulkner Gallery. In the artist’s words, “The watercolor medium offers for me the most direct, free flow from experience to visual image, and also … the pleasures of endless experimentation.”
