Description: Amongst the participating authors this year are: Wendelin Van Draanen, the author of the Sammy Keyes Mystery series and the distinguished Newbery Honor book, Flipped; Amada Perez, an established Latino writer who won a Pura Belpre Honor for My Diary From Here to There; Bruce Hale, the writer of the many Chet Gecko Mysteries for students between 8-12 years old. Also included this year are 2 Illustrators: Diane Greenseid who has illustrated over 14 books including The Trouble With Tilly Trumble, a sweet read-aloud for dog lovers everywhere; and Itoko Maeno whose many books including Molly’s Magic, have been turned into videos and her book illustrations were debut at an art exhibit at Westmont College several years ago.
