Owen Dell, one of Santa Barbara’s “Garden Wise Guys” on TV, will be there at 9 am to show us how to plant the 250 native coastal sage species and other native plants in the mesa area of the Preserve.
No specific knowledge of restoration or gardening techniques are necessary. Volunteers are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes. Gloves and tools not necessary but are welcome.
