Description: Spend a delightful day in the Glendale/Pasadena area of Los Angeles walking the Descanso Gardens, with camellias, iris, lilacs, cherry trees, and daffodils in full regalia. Descanso’s imaginative and colorful horticultural displays demonstrate, in the most dazzling of ways, that every season in Southern California is a gardener’s delight. After exploring the grounds and enjoying a delicious picnic lunch, the tour will continue on to the nearby Pacific Asian Museum, one of only four institutions in the United States dedicated to the arts and culture of Asia and the Pacific Islands with a collection of over 14,000 works of art including paintings, prints, sculptures, ceramics, jades, and textiles
