Description: The discussions are facilitated by a social worker who has expertise in the topic of the month. Time is also available to network and share information and resources in order to build a network of helping professionals. Upcoming talk will be on Virtual Senior Living Community: a Pioneering Model for Santa Barbara. Based on an already established program in Boston, Massachusetts, S.B. is uniquely poised to develop its own “Virtual Senior Living Community.” With the growth of the aging baby boomer population, virtual senior community living is a viable alternative to institutional care. Find out how this model offers the support which promote successful aging while allowing us to remain in own homes.
