Workday Clean Up
The clean up will focus on an area of the park where a new planting demonstration bed will be installed.

Description: The City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Franceschi Park Advisory Committee and the Riviera Homeowners Association host the workday.
The demonstration bed, to be installed at a later date, will highlight many of the plants introduced by Dr. Francesco Franceschi nearly a century ago.
All interested are invited to help trim plants, clear paths, and perform general park clean up. Participants are asked to bring small tools, such as rakes, hedge trimmers/ clippers, and gloves. Some tools will be available. Wearing long-sleeved shirts is suggested to protect from being scratched by the brush. Volunteers will be asked to sign a release form before starting work.
