Description: here will be a brief business meeting followed by a workshop presented by members Jana Julian, Claire Chytilo and Phyllis Haecker demonstrating how to create objects of beauty with recycled items. Lean how to make stunning designer envelopes and boxes from colorful papers. Bring several pieces of colorful paper measuring at least 8 1/2 x 11, such as pictures from old calendars or magazines, maps, or wrapping paper, and a scissors, glue stick, pencil and ruler. Bring anything you've created from "previously used" materials: jewelry, bags, ornaments, baskets, rugs, stuffed animals, clothing, etc. Challenge yourself to complete a new "recycled" project between now and then to show us. Share with us your best ideas for reducing our cabon footprint.
