The Santa Barbara Blues Society's annual Member Appreciation show will feature Nathan James and Ben Hernandez. The stellar duo won the 2007 International Blues Challenge of The Blues Foundation in Memphis, featuring over 150 competitors from all over the US and abroad. Their specialty is a unique blend of pre-war and modern acoustic blues performed on harmonica, guitar, kazoo, jug, washtub bass and spoons. As a result of their win, they have become festival favorites in the past year. Their brand new release Hollerin'! has garnered enthusiastic reviews.

The show will also include a live & silent auction. Leading the items to be auctioned off is the popular and top-selling Kenny Sultan Sunburst Custom Signature Edition guitar by Martin (retail price $4,899), donated by Kenny Sultan, a long time friend of the society. All proceeds from the auction will go to support the society's Blues For Youth Program.

Open and free only to members and one guest. Non-members may purchase an annual ($20) or life ($60) membership at the door.
