Description: "Digitime and Inscription in Postfilmic Screen Narrative" led by Dr. Garrett Stewart, James O. Freedman Professor of Letters at University of Iowa in the Department of English. In teaching as well as scholarship, he works not only at the crosscurrents of disciplines, theories, and media but also at their points of textual undertow. This talk will bridge his two recent publications, The Look of Reading: Book, Painting, Text (2006), and Framed Timed: Toward a Postfilmic Cinema (2007).
