In this slide talk, ranging from Ancient to Renaissance Art, Oxford University-trained scholar Nigel McGilchrist will look at masterpieces both real and fake. He will examine the variety of radical changes which even the very greatest paintings and sculptures have undergone, and discuss ways to recognize the many accomplished forgeries which are to be found in museums and collections.
