Polar Bear Volleyball Tournament
The Polar Bear is an all-day, mixed (co-ed) volleyball tournament featuring your favorite East Beach friends and adversaries. Spirited competition is tolerated, but fun, food, friends and a whole lot of heckling are the end game.
When: Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, 8 a.m.
Where: East Beach, Cabrillo Blvd., Santa Barbara

Description: Two-person mixed teams, games played to 21, win by one.
You’ll register individually, and play with a different partner for each game in pool play.
Top scoring individuals from each pool are paired up permanently and advance to a single elimination playoff. Short Court format and rules.
What do I get? Entry fee, Tournament T-Shirt, Peete’s coffee, Cuca’s burrito lunch, beer and soft drinks, snacks, and if that is not enough, prizes for final four finishers!
Prizes: Winners receive volleyballs, clothing and cash, if there’s any left!

• No need to pre-register, just show up on Saturday and be one of the first 100 players to sign-up and pay!
• All skill levels are welcome, and encouraged to play
