Robert Caiza was struck last Friday night by a Hit and Run driver. He has incurred significant injuries, and while his helmet took one for the team to protect his head, his shoulder was badly injured and requires a surgical operation. The costs for this surgery are high, and by circumstance his medi-Cal coverage is coming to an end this month. In order to prevent Robert from falling into serious debt to get him back into health, Bici Centro is raising funds toward his medical bills. We've already raised over $300 before tamale sales, but we aim to- and will- raise our goal of $5,000 to pay the initial costs for his surgery. Attached is the flyer for his tamale benefit this Wednesday at 7pm. Buy some good karma tamales to help support a fellow cyclist in need! We will continue to raise funds until we reach our $5,000 goal, so feed the whole family with a great selection of tamales, and be generous!
