Tall Ships: Visions of Past Grandeur

Special presentation by Thad Koza on the twenty special tall ships that will be visiting the California coast this summer

Mr. Koza, native Rhode Islander, photographer, and author specializing in tall ships, will discuss the 20 different tall ship vessels scheduled to visit California during the summer of 2008. A few of the vessels will include the U.S. Coast Guard barque Eagle, the tall ship Bounty, the replica of Christopher Columbus' Ni±a, the Lady Washington and the Hawaiian Chieftain.

Special opportunities for young people to sail aboard several of the tall ships from port to port will be discussed in the presentation.
