Description: SBCC Adult Ed is pleased to welcome back BYRON KATIE as the first of five speakers for the Fall 2007 Mind & Supermind series. She will present a free lecture titled "Living in Joy."
Byron Katie is the author of the best-seller Loving What Is, and her most recent book, A Thousand Names for Joy. Using her innovative process of self-inquiry called The Work, which she presents internationally, Katie will guide us in identifying key thoughts that keep us separated from true freedom. As Katie says, "When you know how to question your thoughts, you don't have to grope in the dark to find your way to freedom. You can give it to yourself, any time you want.
Pre-register at the Schott (310 W. Padre St.) and Wake (300 N. Turnpike Rd.) Centers, or at the door of the event as space permits. Admission is on a first come basis.
