Description: This informal gathering allows women to discuss their business interests and career goals. Members have already gained business leads, and shared cutting-edge information about their fields, which cover all aspects of communications industries. Members will be polled with regard to their interests in future programs with speakers and panelists. Networking events are held on odd months and Speaker programs on even months, each one held on the first Wednesday of the month, from 5:30 to 7:30p. Upcoming programs will address topics such as how to market your business on the web; gender issues in communication; PR for women in communications; and the implications of phenomenon such as YouTube, MySpace, and FaceBook for news dissemination and the role of print media.
