College: Making it Happen!

UCSB is hosting a free conference dedicated to helping parents of 8th grade student learn how to prepare their children for college. Professionals from UCSB and many pre-college programs will be giving workshops on:
• Required Classes and Grades for College Admission
• Transition from Middle School to High School
• Creating a Home Learning Environment
• College Student Panel
• Careers & Education
• Financial Aid & Saving for College
Parent workshops will be available in both Spanish and English. Lunch will be provided and limited child-care will be available. Please RSVP to Blia Yang at UCSB Early Academic Outreach, (805)893-4118 so that we can be sure to accommodate you.
