As Brian describes the video, "It was taken from 10.54am to 1:34pm today [August 14] on West Camino Cielo. It shows extensive pyrocumulus development."

I'm sure he wouldn't mind a plug for his great site the Goleta Air & Space Museum.

Here's a tighter crop of the pyrocumulus formation.
